Research: Typical Story lines and Characters

With the genre of horror films they have very typical storyline's and characters.

Typical storyline's: Serial Killer, Psychopaths, Gore, Ghosts, Paranormal, Exorcism, Religion beliefs.

In most Horror films they tend to use typical characters such as blonde girls who tend to die first. They are mostly unintelligent and annoying. They tend to use typical blonde skinny girls in horrors to make them look vulnerable which makes the killer etc look more powerful.
